Contact supportHow does a consultation work?
Choose an online doctor in the app, provide the patient information, pay the fee, and send your request. Chat starts when the doctor accepts. You can send text, images, and voice messages.
Does online mean an immediate reply?
Online means the doctor is in the app to receive requests. They may be helping another patient. Neither online status nor declared hours guarantees an immediate reply or acceptance.
What if my doctor is offline?
Use the bell on the doctor's profile in the app to request a notification when they come online, or choose another online doctor.
What happens to my payment if the consultation does not start?
If the doctor does not accept, your unused payment remains available for another consultation. To request a refund, email contact@shifamate.com or contact WhatsApp +1 447 902 2477.
Will I receive a prescription?
The doctor may issue a digital prescription when clinically appropriate. You can view and download it in the app. A prescription is not guaranteed for every consultation.
Can I use ShifaMate in an emergency?
No. ShifaMate is not an emergency service. In a medical emergency, seek immediate in-person care or local emergency assistance instead of waiting for an online reply.
